As you may have already seen in a few of my blog posts, I love the combat jacket!

The combat jacket is such an extraordinaryly versatile item. You can make the simplest outfits

appear extremely fashionable and chic.

Whoever said that you can't look classy in jeans?
I think basic jeans are one of the classiest items you could have.
For jeans, I think a darker wash (some people call it navy denim) give off a bit of a classier look
and look amazing when they are cuffed (folded to 7/8 length). Dark wash blue jeans give
just the right amount of casual look to classic outfits. I'm pretty picky with my jeans, because
even the slightest difference in shade give it a different look and of course, the fit has look good
and feel comfortable. In my opinion, skinny and straight leg are best for women 

and straight leg suits men for the "classiest" look & fit. 

Where to find:

You can find great style, affordable jeans at Forever 21, but they're not too comfortable and won't last too long. If you are willing to splurge, Rag & Bone, J Brand, and Current Elliot has some great jeans as well. My favorite brand for my jeans is Just USA. Majority of my jeans, regular denim and colored, are from Just USA because it feels they have the comfort of jeggings in the look of jeans; plus, they more affordable than those splurge brands I listed.

Classic Essentials - No. 10 The Leather Biker Jacket

The leather biker jacket is a piece that is extremely chic and edgy, but also definitely a classic one.

I think the leather biker jacket adds chic and edgy to many outfits, casual or dressy.

Classic Essentials - No. 9 The Black Blazer

The black blazer is an extremely versatile item that you can dress up or down

to look formal or casual and that looks great for both looks.

Classic Essentials - No. 8 The Plain White Tee

What would a classy closet be with the most basic, simplest of them all? I think somebody would be able to wear a plain white tee everyday of the year and still manage to appear classy everyday. Plain white t-shirts are available in a huge variety of fits -- scoop neck, v-neck, crew neck, oversized.

Where to find:
You can find crew necks and v-necks for very cheap at k-mart from fruit of the loom (they come in packs too!). For more fancy styles and higher quality, you can try urban outfitters, rag & bone, acne, zara, mango, and other upper-line brands that sell basics.
