Classic Essentials - No. 3 The Breton Stripe Top
CLASSIC ESSENTIALS - NO. 3 THE BRETON STRIPE TOP
I am pretty much obsessed with the breton stripe top. I'm very drawn to breton stripe tops; all colors and styles. From Picasso to Coco Chanel to Audrey Hepburn, some of the classiest people that ever existed showcased the breton top; it's really a timeless classic!
Where to find:
Many high end brands and designers carry breton stripe shirt, but I personally recommend Zara. Zara always has a wide variety of breton stripe tops whether it be color or cut. I have a few breton stripe tops from Zara, but I always tend to buy more... They're more addicting than their simple style may portray!
Styling ideas -- Try it like this!:
* Cuffed khaki or navy trousers with boat shoes and a chambray shirt over
* Original blue jeans, cuffed with converse and a leather motorcycle jacket
* Navy, khaki, or black trousers with oxford shoes or basic court heels and a navy or black blazer
* Cuffed boyfriend jeans with converse, basic court shoes, or simple platform sandals and a trench coat
* Go black and white and add a point color like red or coral!
Also being a very basic piece, there are many ways to style it; it's easy to get creative with such a simple piece!
