What would a classy closet be with the most basic, simplest of them all? I think somebody would be able to wear a plain white tee everyday of the year and still manage to appear classy everyday. Plain white t-shirts are available in a huge variety of fits -- scoop neck, v-neck, crew neck, oversized.

You can find crew necks and v-necks for very cheap at k-mart from fruit of the loom (they come in packs too!). For more fancy styles and higher quality, you can try urban outfitters, rag & bone, acne, zara, mango, and other upper-line brands that sell basics.
